Analtica is involved in the use of latest scientific, biomechanical and computer methods to provide state of the art analysis and description of injury causation and human movement. All our recent work has been in the area of providing expert witness in the area of ( forensic) gait analysis.

Expert Witness

Analtica provides expert witness statements and trial support in biomechanics of injury causation, accident reconstruction, orthopaedic biomechanics and gait analysis.  We will:

• Review the case history, evidence and other information available to provide information on potential injury mechanisms

• Review current and previous research to identify relevant scientific, engineering and clinical data.  

• Evaluate equipment related risk in workplace and sport situations with a view to identify injury causation factors.

• Provide computer analysis and develop simulations, where relevant.

• Summarise and present biomechanical analysis in a court room setting, if required.

Through continued research for several years, Analtica brings to bear specialised Forensic Biomechanics expertise to clients to provide facts to strengthen a case to prove or disprove a personal injury claim.  This will be achieved through a combination of consultancy services using computer simulation and scientific methodology that can provide a quantitative screening method for assessing the biomechanical and physical (orthopaedic) capabilities of the individuals.

Product testing

With the varied experience of its associates, Analtica can provide a combined expertise in product design and development.  

• We can conduct testing and evaluation services on sports and orthopaedic biomechanics devices and equipment including footwear.

• Analtica has access to biomechanics research facilities which allows for all kinematic and kinetic testing.

• Physiological influences can also be tested simultaneously which will provide information on performance and fatigue
